The Chicago Bears wide receiver sent a cryptic tweet on Monday, hinting at his potential future with the team. Robinson has been rumored to be on the trade block for weeks, but he does not seem ready to leave just yet.

Robinson’s future in Chicago is more dismal than ever, according to top NFL source Ian Rapoport, who revealed on July 13 that a contract would not be completed by the July 15 deadline.

A-Rob Posts a Suspicious Tweet About ‘Home’
On July 11, soon after Fowler appeared on SportsCenter, Robinson tweeted the following in response to concerns regarding his future:
“The heart is where the home is.”

So, there you have it. Robinson didn’t specify what he was referring to or where he was referring. A-Rob, a native of Detroit, Michigan, was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2014 and spent his first four seasons with the team.
It’s unclear if he was suggesting that he’d want to play for new Jaguars coach Urban Meyer and catch passes from No. 1 overall selection Trevor Lawrence, but he’s not expected to sign with the Lions. The most probable possibility is that A-Rob was just waxing philosophical or joking around with followers on Twitter, who responded with their own thoughts:

Robinson Appearances to Be Prepared for Anything
“At the end of the day, I have no control over it.” Robinson stated last month regarding his current contract predicament with the Bears, “It’s not something I can control.” When questioned about the issue on NFL Total Access on June 30, A-Rob stated the following:
“I think the most important thing is just going out there this year, having fun, creating plays, and trying to help this team go back into the playoffs, like I stated. That, I believe, is the most important point. That’s what I’ve been working on throughout the offseason. Every time I go onto the field, into my exercises, and other activities, I think to myself, “How can I become better?” How can I assist in putting this team, this offense, in a better position than we were last year?”
The Bears’ offense should be undeniably better with Andy Dalton and Justin Fields at the helm and a revamped offensive line. The issue is if Chicago can convince Robinson to sign a brand-new deal next year after botching negotiations with him this time around. At this time, it seems extremely improbable.
The question here is if A-Rob wants to come back, and although another tag situation is conceivable for the Bears next year, it’s more probable that they’ll seek for quality elsewhere at the position.
